A dare generator that keeps it fun and safe
This dare generator gives you a random dare for truth or dare whenever a player says “dare”. The cards are built to make people laugh, not to make them uncomfortable. Expect things like “Walk like a penguin across the room.” or “Pitch a terrible business idea in 30 seconds.” There are 123 dares in kids, teens and adults sets, and every one can be done in an ordinary living room using only things you already have at home, like a book, a spoon or a pair of socks.
How to use the dare generator
- Pick your age groups under Show. Kids, Teens and Adults are all on at first.
- Press Next (or the space bar or right arrow key) when a player chooses dare.
- The player does the dare. Cheer them on.
- Press Next for the following dare.
Previous goes back one card, and the copy button copies the current dare. No dare repeats until the whole filter has been used, then the deck shuffles again.
What each set looks like
- Kids (40). Animal impressions, frog jumps, singing the alphabet backward, talking like a robot.
- Teens (41). Runway walks, sports announcer voices, beatboxing, short raps, a 30 second plank.
- Adults (44). Fake infomercials, dramatic grocery list readings, nature documentary narration.
Build the full truth or dare game
Use three pages together:
- Pick the player with spin the bottle. Add 2 to 16 names and spin.
- Ask truth or dare. If the player says truth, draw from truth questions.
- Say dare? Press Next here.
Prefer one screen? The truth or dare questions wheel picks the type and the question at once from a smaller set of 60.
Safety and kindness rules
Agree on a pass rule
Before the first dare, decide how many passes each player gets, for example one per game. A pass needs no excuse.
Check the space
Some dares involve hopping, jumping jacks or a slow motion run. Move drinks and fragile things out of the way first.
Keep it kind
A few dares ask for an impression of someone in the group or a review of their shoes, and the card itself says to keep it kind. If the person being imitated is not laughing, stop.
Swap freely
If a dare does not fit your group, press Next. Nobody has to do something they do not want to do.
Where it works
Birthday parties
Kids set only, with a grown up reading the cards.
Youth groups and camps
Teens dares are loud and active, good for burning energy.
Office parties
The Adults set leans on speeches and acting, not on anything personal.
How dares are picked
The deck order comes from your browser’s cryptographic random generator, so every dare in your filter has the same chance. It is free, needs no account and works on a phone passed around the room.

Frequently asked questions
How many dares are in the dare generator?
There are 123 dares. The Kids chip shows 40, Teens shows 41 and Adults shows 44, because one dare, giving everyone in the room a compliment, appears in all three sets.
Are the dares safe?
Yes. They are silly voices, impressions, short dances, simple exercises and quick speeches. None of them involve food challenges, risky stunts, phones or touching other players.
What if a dare is too physical for someone?
Let them pass or swap it for the next card. A few dares ask for squats, a plank or a wall sit, and anyone with an injury or who just does not want to should skip those.
How do I use this with truth questions?
Open the truth questions page in another tab. Each player picks truth or dare, and you draw from whichever deck they chose.
Can I see only kids dares?
Yes. Turn off Teens and Adults under Show. The deck then holds the 40 kids dares, and the page remembers your choice in this browser.
